Marc is a Chartered Specialist MSK and Sports Physiotherapist with over 10 years’ experience across elite sport, advanced NHS practice, primary care and private physiotherapy.
He has worked across Olympic and Paralympic sport, including British Paralympic Athletics, British Canoeing, Boxing, Triathlon and Gymnastics, as well as professional and county sport including Hull City Tigers and Derbyshire County Cricket Club.
Marc has a particular interest in sports injuries, running-related injuries, tendon problems, lower-limb rehabilitation and helping people return to sport, training and active lifestyles. He combines detailed assessment, clear clinical reasoning, progressive rehabilitation and practical advice tailored to each person’s goals.
Marc has completed a Master’s degree in Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and has advanced training in injection therapy and non-medical prescribing.
At Peak Physio & Injection, Marc works with recreational runners, gym-goers, walkers, active adults and competitive athletes, helping them recover from injury, move with confidence and return to the level of performance that matters to them.
Marc lives in the Peak District with his young family and enjoys trail running, hiking, camping, strength training and spending time outdoors.
James is a Chartered Clinical Specialist physiotherapist who has worked in a variety of roles in the NHS such as Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery and Musculoskeletal outpatients having more than 10 years clinical experience.
James works full time in the NHS as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist which involves rehabilitation and referring people for investigations, specialist injections and for surgery.
James has a wealth of knowledge of different types of investigations that you may need and how the referral pathways work in the NHS and privately. He is able to give you personalised care and advice regarding age-related injuries and helping you to get back to sport.
James has a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University. James has completed multiple Masters modules in Advanced Physiotherapy and is an Injection Therapist.
James lives nearby in the village of Eyam with his wife and daughter. He loves walking locally in the hills, trail running and plays a variety of sports including tennis locally.
